Omar Mmubango Professional Affiliations in the Pharmaceutical Industry
Omar Mmubango, who proudly calls himself a veteran of the trenches of the pharmaceutical industry, is widely regarded as an expert on matters related to FDA regulatory policies. He is the founder of Regulatory Affairs CMC Resources Corporation (CMC Resources), which provides short and long term resources and services related to regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical industry.
In the course of his carreer, Omar Mmubango has naturally become a member of several professional associations. Among them: the Society of Regulatory Affairs Professionals, the American Chemical Society, and the American Institute of Food Scientists and Technologists.
Apart from his professional affiliations, Omar Mmubango uses the knowledge and skills he has gained over the years by actively participating in various community and nonprofit organizations.
He is a strong supporter of humanitarian causes and diligently fulfills his responsibilities as board member to several community organizations that support such worthwhile causes as the prevention of illegal dumping of hazardous and non-degradable wastes, promoting recycling, ensuring clean drinking water for all communities and the general cleaning of neighborhoods.
Omar Mmubango graduated from the University of Minnesota where he earned a B.Sc. in Chemistry as well as a BA Public Health-Affairs. He also has a B.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences—Food Science & Technology from the University of Wisconsin.
