Lacrosse Coach - Southwestern Youth Association (SYA)
Nancy DiPietro and Edie Fallon successfully coached the Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) Girls’ Lacrosse team during the Spring 2004 season. From Feb 2004 to Jun 2004, the team played in 10 league games. The team roster had 14 girls, ranging from 2nd grade to 5th grade. The team’s overall record was 7-2-1. The team played in 1 tournament in Middleburg, Virginia and came in 2nd place against some stiff competition. At the end of the season, a party was held at Coach Nancy DiPietro’s, where team members were awarded a trophy and certificate for their efforts. “Edie and I had great fun coaching these girls in Lacrosse. Our team was a blend of younger and older kids’, which was interesting and fun. Lacrosse is such a great, up and coming sport for girls. By the end of the season, we were both so pleased with the way all team members had improved”, says Nancy DiPietro.

Indoor Soccer Coach - Winter 2006 - Girls’13 yr olds
Nancy DiPietro successfully coached the Girls’ 13 year-old indoor soccer team at Fairfax Sportsplex in Springfield, VA during the Winter 2006 season. From Feb 2006 to Mar 2006, the team of 10 girls played in 6 games, all held at Fairfax Sportsplex in Springfield, VA. Overall, the season was successful and the team went 5-1 for the season. “In the winter, participating in indoor soccer is a great way for the kids’ to stay in shape and be ready for the spring soccer season. All of the girls’ had great fun and I was very pleased with their success”, said Nancy DiPietro following the season.
